Any more real life paintings?

I love Shanna's latest bulletin showing her square painted in "real life". It's such a good idea! Wouldn't it be great to do a mini OMM made up of photos of real paintings?

My Klee pic started out on canvas before it became an OMM square. Me and my mum did it one Sunday afternoon from a Paul Klee painting. It's 1mx1m and now hangs pride of place in her dining room!

Maybe if enough people join in we could fit them together to make a baby OMM . As long as your image was square, it wouldn't matter about the size. If anyone thinks it's worth having a go at, post a comment and we could think about setting up a thread on the forum for people to post their images. Could be a fun mini-project until the real big collab gets going!

It doesn't need to be realist, Paul. Any squiggle would do, then you could make it an OMM square afterwards! Mark and Morgan- I hope you join in! Shanna has open a thread in the Greenroom for adding your pics Xx

Jo, what a great idea I am sure there must be loads of people on the OMM that use other mediums other than digital and it would be really interesting to see all the different styles and the contrasts between their work on the OMM and on canvas or paper. All my limited art work is on the OMM at the moment but maybe this will be the push I need to have a go to do some stuff with proper paint. Have a great Christmas. Cheers Mark

thats such a cool idea. im sure there are many of us that have tried our squares on paper, canvas or watever either before or after we did the OMM square. Also a good way for people to show their vast artistic talents!

ps. this community im sure would also be helpful for when u get stuck and some advice is needed!
