| Big Collab: Deadline: Friday, November 2ndSat 20th Oct, 2007If anyone is interested in joining, now is the time! I'll give the number of squares we need and the names of people who are interested in joining on November 2nd, 2007... so let me know asap if you want to join :) Christina Krygier DeannaComments & discussion:J WestWed 31st Oct, 2007 BIG FAT Ai. Oooo pick me, me please. Would be an honour. Mini suggestion - although I think landscape sounds like a great unifying theme. Friends and family - paint our loved ones like a big family album maybe? Could still interconnect arms, hands, accessories? Although, might not show as one large collab too well. Doh. Ignore me ;D But that was a *yes* Thanks for the invite. Couldn't see the bigger pic for all the tagging . . . jacqueline Chloe NorthWed 31st Oct, 2007 I would love to join in with this collaboration, it sounds like fun and thanks for inviting me ^^ But since the image we are creating for this collaboration would be our final one in the OMM, I was thinking of creating a new account for it since I would like to keep the image I have now as part of the OMM final piece. Would that be ok? I can create the account as soon as possible and send you my username if you think that will be alright. Magnus WittstromWed 31st Oct, 2007 Sounds like fun, count me in. I was "story painting" with Beverly Johnson earlier, that was great fun to do and this project sounds like it can be something really, really fun :) Emily CoombsWed 31st Oct, 2007 This is a fantastic idea, you can count me in! Gracie RaffertyWed 31st Oct, 2007 Great, guys... keep the ideas coming; I'm compiling a large list of all the theme ideas, subject matters you guys want to maybe work on... on Friday I'll post a big bulletin with all the ideas and we can begin coordinating and planning what our big picture will be! No idea is a bad one... who knows what the collective group will find great :D Just remember it has to be something feasible to work on with this many people :) Welcome to all the new participants, too - so cool to see how many people are getting involved.. this will be loads of fun! Benjamin WirtzWed 31st Oct, 2007 That sounds like a good idea I'm up for participating in that, count me in. Beverly JohnsonWed 31st Oct, 2007 I would love to be involved in this. I am so entranced by all the wonderful talent out here, the support, the neighborliness. My original default square and the square next to me had (well, still have) an ongoing storyline going - without once ever communicating. I still love watching the playback and the comments and responses we made. It was fun, playful, and always a surprise - as we each did our own thing. Jeanne KrebbeksWed 31st Oct, 2007 I am willing to go for anything as I think this is such a wonderful idea.....Jeanne Gracie RaffertyTue 30th Oct, 2007 OMG! You did it! Yay, I'm sooo excited. Well, I'm not sure how many people. I figure a rectangle shape but if that's not possible, we can work around it :D I'll do some poking around to see if anyone else wants to join and then we'll lock in our final number :D Thank you SO much for working on this Eamonn & team! EamonnTue 30th Oct, 2007 OK guys the we've made an admin facility which can swap pictures around - so all we need to do now is to find some people to nudge out the way so we can put you guys together :) So how many people all together want to be involved, and what shape would you like to be together in? I'm excited to see what you all come up with! Gracie RaffertyThu 25th Oct, 2007 Hi guys.. Jeanne, the subject matter is open to anyone; I think voting on ideas is the best idea so everyone has a say in what we choose :D Jeran... I'm not sure what you mean. We'd still pick the subject matter, yes? Please do explain further and I'll put the new ideas up in the voting area to be decided on :) Jeran HalfpapThu 25th Oct, 2007 howabout something long that flows from picture to picture. like those 'red ribbon' collaboration artworks, or Long Cat. this would represent unity, but give us freedom of subject. Jeanne KrebbeksThu 25th Oct, 2007 I also think a landscape would be a good choice. Perhaps even something with children. Both are universal issues. Looking forward to working on this project. ---Jeanne Krebbeks You must log-in to vote or post a comment |
