I KNOW I SAID THIS IN ANOTHER POST IN THE "PICTURES FOR DELETION" BUT... THERE ARE A FEW GUARANTEED THINGS THAT WOULD MAKE IT EASIER TO FIX THE PROBLEM OF SCREENING YOUNGER MEMBERS WHILE ALLOWING FOR COMPLETE ARTISTIC FREEDOM.
THEY ARE:
THE PARENTS OF THE YOUNGER VIEWERS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE HELPING THE KIDS JOIN. THE PARENTS ARE GUARANTEED TO INPUT THEIR KIDS AGE. ALL IMAGES ARE TAGGED WITH NUMBERS. ALL THE PARAMETERS NEEDED ARE THERE.
"IF" (KID YOUNGER) "THAN" (DONT SHOW THEESE SQUARES OR) "DRAW BLACK"
YOU GUYS ARE WIZZES SO I KNOW YOU GUYS CAN COME UP WITH A PATCH LIKE THAT.
CABOOOOOM, PROBLEM SOLVED EVERYONE CAN DRAW WHAT THEY WANT AND WHEN THINGS START TO HEAT UP NO BAD PRESS.THIS I THINK IS KEY FOR THE PROJECT.
OLDER KIDS MIGHT CHANGE THEIR AGE BUT THEY MOST LIKELY WILL BE OLD ENOUGH ANYWAY TO SEE IT ANYWAY.
ACTUALLY THIS GIVES PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT SO SEE THE CRAP AN OPTION TO SWITCH IT OFF. HMMMMM.
AND FOR YOU GUYS NO NEED FOR POST REPLIES AND WORST OF ALL TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DECIDING "WHAT TO DELETE" IT HAS GOT TO SUCK. THAT IS ONE THING I PERSONALLY WOULD HATE TO BE BURDENED WITH. MAN IT IS LIKE SAYING NO TO SOME ART. I THINK ALL ART IS IMPORTANT EVEN REALLY SICK EVIL ART. IT IS KIND OF A WINDOW TO SOMEONES SOUL. OK I AM ABOUT TO START MY USUAL BABBLING AGAIN SO I WILL STOP.
AWESOME PROJECT GUYS.
LOOKING FORWARD TO RESPONSE
HAVE SOME OTHER IDEAS I WILL POST SOON

I linked to here from the thread in the deletion forum.
This idea would add another layer to the 'child friendly' attribute and would give users a bit more personal choice when visiting the OMM.
If members fail to mark an adult immage as such this then makes extra work for the administrators. So, giving parents some extra control over a childs profile would, at least, prevent the image being viewed whilst the appropriate measures are taken by site admin, leaving the rest of the OMM usable in the meantime.
Also, It would give some extra reassurance to parents that control the internet environment their child uses. This is a responsibility that I think rests with the parent, then hopefully an informed choice (open or censored) can be made if given the tools.
