On the comments on the newest blog post, we've had a couple of people mention that this project isn't their first world record- My husband and I were talking about this the other day, as it's my first, but his second (he was in the world's biggest hug in 2001)
So, share world records (and attempts) away! |

I took part in an attempt to break the record for the longest strip-the-willow (a traditional British folk dance) in Edinburgh one New Years Eve. It was chaotic. The street was jammed with people and we only made it about half way down the line before being swallowed up by the crowd. I can't imagine that it could have been verified by anyone, so I'm pretty sure it never made it as an official world record. It was good fun anyway

The World Record Hug sounds great! Lets get all the OMM members together for a second world record attempt. Your husband can join in and break his own record too!!

World record at Glastonbury festival for the largest number of people juggling simultaneously for 10 seconds. Sounds easy but we had to do it 7 times cos people kept dropping their balls, batons etc. Also had my then baby son in a back carrier and I was standing between a mounted policeman juggling knives and a bloke juggling with fire batons! Just had to hope they wouldn't drop anything on him. |

The instant you were born you were officially the youngest person in the world! So this will be your second record. |

That's such a nice idea...
I doubt I hold the world record for much of anything. Procrastination, maybe? =P |

I've resolved to beat that record.
I'll have a go tomorrow.
