I totally had to join in... I loved the space monkey picture. It made me smile.

I added a small one. I might make it bigger though (And I also realize now I had my opacity rather low.. hehehe...)
I think I'll decorate for Christmas as well... *thinks* Yes, those trees in the bg could use some lights, no? |

Well the news of the day is that SPACE MONKEYS have mutated in to SPACE ANIMALS. So far we seem to have a Tiger, Shark, Panda, Bunny, Bee......who knows where it will end?
I also have a new neighbour above me. Id decided to collaborate with them and guess what...they made it really difficult with lots of splodges of colour for me to try to match...thanks! I have messaged that person to see if they would add a few SPACE MONKEYS/ANIMALS but no response as yet...watch this space.
You may also have noticed that Mike (to my right) is SPACE MONKEY/ANIMAL campaigner extrodinaire! Between us I think we will manage to get 1 million space monkeys on this picture before the end of the project! |

below are some of the confirmed facts about the phenomenom known as the "space monkeys"
1 they are small and round
2 they can be any colour you like
3 they are relentlessly cheerfull
4 they only inhabit the squares of cool people
5 adopt one today

Laura, I think you may already have one million on your square. I think you should up the expectation to at least two million!
I've just added my second. My first diva space monkey was covered in more changes. This new one may stick around for a little while. He's relentlessly happy under his zipper. I promise. It seems that for now, however, it can only be seen on the playback (which by all accounts should be fixed by Monday). |

| Good spot Pip. There are more Space Animals to come but its all a bit slow on updating. You should all also be warned that I am really bad at Space Animals. My husband couldnt decipher what most of the animals were so I expect to be in for some critisism over the next few weeks!!! Its the thought that counts!!! |

awww! Why did you cover your space bat? That was my favorite, since it's the only bat I've seen with such a nice temperament!
Please note that per Mike's urging, a second space monkey has made it's way into my pic. I think the personality of my pic may have rubbed off on it a bit, though!

Ali and Angelie,
They are some of the bestest Space Monkeys I have ever seen. Well done guys. We will be up to One Millon in no time!
I'll put the bat back in soon!
I hadnt realised that Ali is Mikes daughter. There was a bit of a scary moment in Ali's picture when the monkeys had the wrong eyes but with a little fatherly coaching it seems to have been rectified!

Space Monkey Mama Laura's square is now third on the leaderboard. If she can get enough comments to go in first place then I think an item will go on the news blog to say there is a new leader. it's sure to bring loads of publicity to the Space campaign.
