When I'm sketching something that is same color as background (or very similar or with small density) I often don't see where my brush cursor is. Maybe You can add small crosshair? "+" in the center of cursor will be fine :-) |

A very, very good idea!
It's really annoying how you can't see your brush sometimes (or sometimes most of the time ) |

I think that it'd be handy to have something similar to a function photoshop has for finding your brush. When you hit control, it shows up with a cross hair or mark thing and when you release it it goes away again. I don't know what would be the best way to go about it, I suppose it all depends on the size of the crosshair. |

I've made a simple crosshair - sorry it took rather a long time Well let me know if you find it helpful - I'd like to do the control key idea but its not really possible as flash has no way of detecting a ctrl keypress on its own...

Yeah :-) Now it is much better to draw with small opacity brush. Only problem is when the crosshair moves over black/very-dark background - but it's not very serious problem. Good idea will be making this crosshair white when over dark background and black when vice versa. Or maybe with inversing the background colors? But I dunno if this is easy to do ;-) |

I've just suggested the same thing in the problems forum- I didn't see this thread, think I put it in the wrong place! I thought making the crosshair black and white stripes would be easiest- thats how it is on MS Paint. |

That's wonderful, thank you, much better! It would also be very helpful if chocolate was sent out to the artists to aid concentration *looks hopeful* |
