Hi Melissa, thanks for your suggestions.
This project is about freedom of expression and is a democratic piece of global art. In order to represent all society there will be some picture that you do not think fit, but others will think they do.
Images will only be deleted if they fall foul of specific rules, such as the accounts contain fake information or they have been posted as part of a sustained attack from the same group of individuals.
Please feel free to flag up images using the Report to Moderator link. These images will be reviewed and action taken if necessary. Otherwise it might be useful to our moderators if you could post all of the image numbers you find offensive in one forum post.
Many thanks Melissa for your input! |

Take a look at some of the other "image for Deletion" sections Melissa. There have been a lot of discussions about "meaningless" scribbles or writing. The main point that has come from these discussions is that it may be meaninglass to you, but it means something to the artist. And dosen't everyone have the equal right to make a contribution? Even if they don't have the artistic ability to produce a square that, individually, you wold like to buy as a poster. Also....how can you tell that the images are finished? Give them a fighting chance! You have a great square, and obviously an artistic talent, but as I mentioned in another thread....if we were all requiret to submit a fantastically designed and rendered masterpiece, worthy of the Louvre, we'd be making the One Thousand Masterpiece.....not nearly so impressive and sort of misses the point!

hmm i agree. the point of this project is to unite people of all differences as each may package, and what better to do that is to gather hopefully a dung load of different people that the world has ever seen to make it happen. we all know that not everyone on this planet is extremely tallented or has artistic tastes and creation, but at least they are contributing and giving their support for the real cause of this project. but anyways.. i must give u a huge applause for taking all that time to assist in making OMM a better site , i do a crappy job compared hahaha |

I think you should write something similar (not directly to one person) and make it sticky in this forum, so that every new arrival who is about to report some images would read this first. |
