I'm sorry if this has been covered but I just don't have time to go back through pages and pages to find out...
I notice that some of my "favorites" I am picking out and studying (and running through the "playback!" is THAT not too cool a feature for words!!!?) - anyway I notice there are VOTES listed with a number, but I cannot find anywhere on the site about how to "vote" for someone or what that means. Is it just a "YES, I like it!" or something more complex? At any rate, how does one vote?
Just joined tonight & have my first picture up.
Hopefully better on the next one! And I am going to send this to LOTS of friends plus a few of my old students.

Hi Peggy, and welcome to the OMM!  You have a lovely picture!
There should be a green button with a white up arrow in the middle of it underneath the description of the picture you are viewing, just click on it once to vote for the picture.

(The red button with a down arrow in the middle of it, that is used if for some reason you don't like a picture, if you are offended by it, etc.)
Now, when you vote up someone's painting, it later displays that persons painting on the front page of the OMM website.
