Anyone notice the seemingly coherent bands of white that pervade the the one million masterpiece? It reminds me a bit of a coral reef. Of course, it is no surprise that white is the most prevalent color used since it indicates space.
Also, I find it curious that there are many black squares. I know that the primary goal of this project is to raise money for charity, but why come here and do nothing? After all, I was initially attracted to this because of the art as are most other people (I'm guessing). I'm not implying that the presence of these black squares is bad, I'mjust curious about it. |

Haha, but what if somebody wants to do a kind of colorfield piece, and they desperatly want to do a solid black square or white square? (this has been done by some gallery-level artists) |

Bring reconing upon the black squares!
D; Sorry! Got into it a little. I've got a space monkey on two of my four pieces. Or do I have five? I don't remember. But anyways! Trends are cool. And they show unity between the different artists. Since this is a 'collaboration' work of art right? :] |

I agree with Brian, you can go with trends while still doing your own thing; and there's always the "undo" button. |
