Hello everyone, for the last few years i've been thinking i don't know enough fellow artists, then i happened upon this website! I paint on silk mostly, but I love to experiment with new mediums too. I've been painting on silk for nearly five years now, gradually building up over 250 paintings in that time, many commission pieces and sales. Finally i've taken the plunge and had a website made, which i'm extremely proud of! www.bethwoodsoriginalsilk.com At the start of the year i couldn't work a PC, i've learnt so much this year and so now i can start networking. I'm really looking forward to seeing what others are up to on an artistic front. I'd also love to hear what you think of my work, costructive critisism is a good thing! Cheers |

Hi I am Alan 53 yrs old from Scotland, I have been painting traditional art using soft pastels for about 4 yrs now, I am just starting out with digital art, the omm project was my reason for getting interested in this, the squares in my gallery are my first attempts, I now have photoshop CS3 where I hope to develop my skills in digital art, I like portraits and fantasy art these are the subjects I will probably start out with, anyone who can suggest any good training books for digital artists would be helpful, Hello to all my new neighbours in the omm community Iwill update my square at the weekend cheers for now Alan |
