Just thought I would take the opportunity to commend Paul and his team on the hardwork they have put into the project over the past few months and in particular the last few weeks.

Being involved on the environment that runs the site, its been a hectic few weeks and Paul and co have worked overly hard to ensure its ready and running...

So I thought I would pass comment, and wish them every success with the project and look forward to see a few people around the site and the forums!

A fun strain of art - where some of these pockets of creativity in some eyes, would be nominees for some v. expensive art award. I have my favourites, but I aint telling (I stand corrected - I have now . . .).

I have come onto the site post-bugs and find it very smooth with the added bonus of broadband at work. I like the fact that you can edit a comment or description and it does it right there infront of you - rather than someone behind the site scene chewing over the change for an hour, then getting back to you to say that you have made a mistake. Result!

I must admit the tools and colours are a little tricky and really test your artistic skills. With the tools a little sluggish, and I'd find that I draw over myself a lot (not in a good way). The colours are teeny making it pot luck in finding the one that ya want.

But minor probs. In all - rather chuffed.

Thanks very much.

Best wishes,

Jacqueline

Just wanted to add - I JUST LOVE the PLAY button on the drawings. Fascinating to watch manic squiggles turn into something.

Magic!

jacqueline

(ps. i keep adding smilies and they're not appearing - sigh ):-~

Agree with Jacqueline - the PLAY option is wicked! Great to see how others actually produced their pieces.
Is this Art? Of course it is! Its creative, its imaginative, its constructive, and its fun! Even if it does take me back to my primary school days!

Well done to all who work behind the scenes on this project. Hope you manage to achieve what you originally entailed.

Best of luck,
Joanne x

The play button is a lovely addition. smiley

There's nothing wrong with things that take you back to your primary school days! This is coming from a 23 year old who still does finger painting! smiley

Maybe we could branch out into using different types of vegetables? smiley

I recommend playing with paints (that you can wash off easily). Lot of enjoyment in it. smiley

I think this is a fantastic idea! What a brilliant way to kill a flock of birds with one stone! Raising money and awareness for charities, creating a truly original art piece, meeting like minded people, on a more personal note, maybe a bit of self promotion! Etc,etc...

I am thrilled to be a part of it, although it is my new favourire waste of time! smiley
