In the info it says the final unvieled image will be 80m wide, 31m high. However right now the image is basically a big circle so how will this work? Im guessing the circle will be capped in height and expand out like O -> (O) -> ((O)) -> [((O))]
Also, I think the whole donation side of things needs to be made more clearer. I've been mucking around on this site for a week now and while I wondered what the xxxx members | $xxxxx raised etc thing was up the top, there wasn't any indication that the money raised is from donations and that you can make a donation using the site.
It wasn't until I clicked "The Charities" and saw the donate button and read about how you must donate for your art to be definitely included in the final piece, before I donated. I think that this needs to be somewhere more prominent in the site. Maybe in both the view picture and edit my picture pages.

Ross - yes you are correct, the image will expand to fill a massive rectangle.
I also agree that the donation system needs some clarification. In the past you needed to make a donation to join, but then we ran a test with deviantArt which allowed DA members to join for free. Now we have extended this to everyone, however free members have certain retrictions as described here.
Because of all these rapid changes the text is probably a bit unclear so we'll look in to a way to make it clearer.

i have about the same probelm. changing the ringgit to US money is to costly. it costs even more to change to pounds. besides that, i don't know how to read exchange rates and my bank says what i ask is not possible cause 1) i'm still a minor by law 2) i need my mum's sig to withdraw money. -.- 3) i realize i need to use a credit card but i don't have a credit card cause of reason number 1 |

I'm I little worried about the hole donation thing... just never done it before is all and I'm a bit worried about security. Hmmmmmm I'll crack up the nerve eventually though even if I have to ask my mam to make sure it's aright to do an all hehe. |
