I'm not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere (I looked but couldn't find it), but I apologise if it has.
I noticed that the panels on the OMM have a 'Child Friendly' tick box, so I was wondering: When the filter comes into place, how will it work? What is the actual age limit for a child? <-- (that second question is probably stupid)
I'm just curious of how the whole thing will work. |

Hi Nick.
Hopefully the child protection system will be up and running in January, although some elements are already on line.
I have tocuhed on the subject in the following blog post, although this has changed a little. http://www.theonemillionmasterpiece.com/en/blog02.php?NewsID=11
Under 16's do not have access to the message system, but over 16's do. Also, a new version of the website is being built for use in schools, which will only show images and profiles that have been pre-approved by a moderator, and which will allow children to message other school children of the same age. |
