Hey guys!
Well, after having done some major browsing today, I've finally come up with my second square idea.
Seeing as how we're all helping support charities, I figured I'd lend a bit of my digital painting experience to help anyone who is a traditional artist or who is simply unfamiliar with digital painting to get maybe a head start on the software here and make them more comfortable with the idea of drawing on the computer.
The first part is for anyone - be you new to drawing or new to drawing digitally, I try to break down each tool in the OMM software as concisely as possible.
The second part is for anyone who is new to color mixing and blending - I started to go through the basics of color theory and how to make more neutral tones outside of what is provided in the OMM palette.
It's still a work of progress, but it's so far been a culimation of about 5 hours of work, mostly just outlining on paper what I wanted to cover first, seeing as how there's a limited number of brushstrokes.
If I get past the basics of color, I plan to delve more into how to blend digitally, and maybe even basic lighting principles.
I hope you guys find this helpful and informative, and if you have any questions just post a comment, I'll try to help out.
Cheers,
Gracie

Excellent job Gracie. We've created a new news category - Artists Tutorials where links to tutorials can be posted.

Nice, glad to see another category born! Just as an update to this news article, I have finished (well, maxed it out) the tutorial, and it can be found here:
