Official 2008 Calendar : Final category list

Here's your chance to bag a place in our official 2008 Calendar and have your artwork shipped into thousands of homes around the world!

Like last year, the twelve calendar categories will be made up of a hand picked selection of images that will make up a themed montage for each month. Each montage will be made up of approximately 150 images, but will contain one category 'winner' whose image will be blown up to a larger size.

We've kept the most popular themes from last year, but have thrown in some new ideas to keep you on your toes.

So it's over to you. Every member can now create a gallery of images within their OMM profile, so use you extra squares to start creating your submissions. Remember to tag your pictures with relevant keywords to help our design team find your creations. Don't forget, we're not looking for the best artwork or the most talented artist, but rather pictures (and writing) that captures the essence of each category theme.

Good luck. Selections for the calendars will begin immediately and continue for the next three weeks!

Space Monkey Mania
A collection of images containing Space Monkeys and Space Monkey related images

February

Love
It's back! Hearts, roses, love poems – if you've got something special to say, say it now and be immortalised forever!

March

United Nations
Images of countries, flags, international messages

April

Only Joking
Funny, humorous and bizarre images and commentary from within the OMM

Our World
Images of the Earth, trees, plants, environmental messages

June

Young Artist
Images created by younger members and images of children and babies – in celebration of International Children’s day on June 1st

July

Heat
Images the Sun, hot weather, fire

August

Above and below
Images of space, the sky, planes, birds, the sea, boats, fish, whales, creatures of the deep.

September

Portraits
Massively popular so it's back!

October

Fantasy
A new batch of some of the more scary and dark OMM images, in celebration of Halloween on 31 October.

November

Monochrome
Black and white images. Grey-scale images

Festive images
Festive images from around the world
