More about Megan G

Occupation: student, kindergarten tutor, camp counselor
Interests and Hobbies: I like creating/listening to music, game nights, the OED online, learning about different cultures, arts & crafts, watching random movies, the cold air feeling you get when breathing in after eating a mint, crunching autumn leaves, reading a good book, and finally feeling warm after being cold for a long time. I love my summer camp, studying the English language and linguistics in general, adrenaline rushes, South Africa, curiosity, hot chocolate or tea (rooibos!) that *almost* burns as it goes down my throat, and laughing til my belly hurts.
Music: Arctic Monkeys, Beethoven, Ben Folds, Ben Lee, Brahms, Dashboard Confessional, The Fray, Frou Frou, Garden State Soundtrack, Hellogoodbye, Imogen Heap, Jack's Mannequin, Jason Mraz, Keane, The Killers, Mason Jennings, New Buffalo, Regina Spektor, Rhett Miller, Smashing Pumpkins, Snow Patrol, Something Corporate, Wilco
Movies: Boondock Saints, Dead Poets Society, Disney movies, Elf, Garden State, A Hard Day's Night, the Indiana Jones series, Iron Jawed Angels, Little Miss Sunshine, LOTR, Love Actually, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Star Wars Episodes IV-VI, Timeline.
Books and Writers: Bee Season, The Handmaid's Tale, The Hobbit, Jane Eyre, Made in America, Mutants; novels by Garth Nix; the literature (esp. poetry) of Early Modern England; anything else that can hold my attention.
Personal Quote: "I do not regret the things I have done, but those I did not do." ~Lucas, Empire Records "Well-behaved women rarely make history." ~Laurel Thatcher Ulrich i do not know what it is about you that closes and opens; only something in me understands the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses ~e.e.cummings
