About Alexa Pederson

Hey everybody, I’m Alexa, and I think that this is a fantastic idea for a project. Artistic expression really speaks volumes, and encouraging individuals to contribute creatively to such a great cause is a really unifying and eye-opening experience, in my opinion. I believe that if more people, artists or not, can become ‘unblocked’ and able to express themselves creatively--to have their voices heard--the communication gap that keeps prejudice and bigotry alive and thriving will begin to shrink. Misunderstanding is a huge factor that contributes to the disconnection of different culture, religion, and race; by bringing together people from every walk of life, I think this project is a great way to broaden people’s perspectives and spread some understanding in this chaotic, violent, and angry world we live in.
