About Lisolette Gilcrest

Having worked as a federal investigator, mediator, grant writer, event planner and workshop facilitator, Detroit native Lisolette Gilcrest still favors her work as an artist above all else. Specializing in traditional and digital photography, she also enjoys working in oil and digital mediums, including photo manipulations and digital paintings. Lisolette is featured in several online galleries, including Art.com, The Saatchi Gallery’s “Your Gallery” and the Etsy Gallery. Lisolette is currently shooting a series celebrating the form of pregnant women, to be concluded in December 2007 and plans to shoot a series of photographs representing fantasy and mythological characters, concluding this summer – and she is always collaborating on private commissions for personal collections.
