About Alan Forward

Older - yes. Wiser - a little. Grown up - never! Probably approaching a mid life crisis, though I'm happy with my own world but increasingly concerned about the wider one we all share. Starting to get a social conscience too - I'm curious to see where this will take me. I count myself as very lucky and have no real issues compared to so many others in far worse places. It's nice to see lots of normal art that you can relate to (no unmade beds or elephant droppings as yet!), amongst some superb images from truly gifted people. And the general sentiment towards harmony is a great thing to be part of. I look forward to seeing what we all achieve.

	Christina S. Fri 11th May, 2007 Wow! Cool pic! So true! :D ...to answer your question, I worked on it 2 hours-ish for the sketch+skin. Then waited til the next day to spend a couple hours working out the clothes and bg ;D After that I worked on and off perfecting it ;D I have a tablet which I used for this, though a good portion of it was done with a mouse, since I found the program required a bit more control C:
