You don't need to be an artist or be able to draw - you can make patterns, write words, doodle - what-ever you want.
from the about us page.
what exactly are the rules?

Hi Michelle,

There are a few rules that need to be adhered to in order to satisfy the legal requirements for The Guinness World Record people, the need for protection of personal data, and also there are the disclaimers and terms and conditions that OMM contributors agree to when creating an account.

Firstly, over at the Images for Deletion forum a discussion was started about what would qualify an image to be deleted. Paul Fisher stated some rules (in this thread) that were created at the inception of the project.

The world record people stipulate that each contributor need be unique and verifiable. To fulfil this criteria member profiles must contain real details, and not be blank or falsified. The full world record requirement can be found on the OMM legal page (scroll down to the heading 'GUINNESS WORLD RECORD' )

Lastly, here are the T's and C's mentioned above.

These all overlap of course, and in general are not as restrictive as they sound. From what I have seen so far the freedom of the OMM artists has been very well maintained and deletion of accounts kept to a minumum.

Pip.
