I think that growth will be exponential as the OMM gets towards it's goal. Huge sites like myspace, neopets etc were tiny for ages, until word of mouth got around and suddenly there were explosions in member numbers.
Such a strong base of members this early on, and the nature of the project make me think that a million contributions will be achievable. |

Hmm, having post problems.
Anyway, yes let's focus on the world record first and then growth should be exponential after that. We've already seen a massive increase in traffic over the past few days, but as new members are joining so the deletion engine is replacing empty accounts - making growth looks static.

Breaking the world record for artistic collaboration will be a great boost for the project, I think. Hopefully lots of extra publicity and a guarantee of 'record breaking' status to all contributors will generate lots more interest in the project. |
