My linkshttp://alexjh.deviantart.com/ Apologies for Abscence Thu 30th Aug, 2007 Well I have meant to maintain a broader presence, but various things (a mix of personal issues, work, holidays and laziness) have kept me distracted over the last month. However, I've now decided upon my fifth picture, which will hopefully start soon, and it will be a little different from the others... But thats all you are getting for a clue, you'll just have to wait and see... With any luck I should do some further work to the existing pictures, particularly the snow leopard and even more so, the ninja. I'll also start commenting on people again too... But not immediatly as I have to go do cleanign for a few hours... fun! 0 comments About Alex HoltI'm Alex, and I'm currently studying Game Art Design at De Monfort Uni in Leicester. Well thats the vague outline of it at the least. Anyway, I've always loved drawing, and have branched out into more or less every 2D medium I can think of, although I tend to use pen, ink and pencil most. I use art to show whats in my head, whether its just an interesting picture I've thought of, or just a still life - feeling like recording whats around me at the time. I often like to have a sense of drama about my work, or at least a certain feel that its out of the ordinary. I've always liked doing things my own way regardless of what other people say or think I should do - if you dont try to follow up on your own aspirations and values how can you ever be truely happy? I've only started digital artwork this year really, so I've no idea how well my little picture will turn out...Contact InformationEmail: alex_j_holt@hotmail.commsn: 99089@bwctc.northants.sch.uk More about Alex HoltOccupation: StudentInterests and Hobbies: Drawing and painting, reading, computer games, comics, writing, philosophy, feminism, psychology Artists: David Mack, Caspar David Friedrich, Justin Sweet Music: Bits and bobs from all sorts of places, but no particular defining theme except in what it isn't - but thats a rather negative thing to write about.
