After adding just a little more I think it's finally done. It's so hard to draw with the mouse! But I tried and it worked!
Please share your comments, everyone sees a diffrent symbol in a Phoenix!
Jason Knight Tue 10th Apr, 2007 Impressive! -Jason
Qian Zhao Sun 11th Mar, 2007 mmm nice use of color. Thanks for your comment btw, lol sadly, the point of my message is that you can't go "there" anymore cus it no longer exists.
Chris Cooper Fri 9th Feb, 2007 reminds me of the cover of The Bravery self titled album.
Lesley Tooze Thu 8th Feb, 2007 This is beautiful Tara! Love it!
David Gauer Wed 31st Jan, 2007 Very cool. I live in Peoria, which is connected to, and in the same valley as Phoenix, AZ. It gets so hot here in the summer that it looks a lot like your picture. Things like birds spontaniously burst into flames, attempt to take flight, and then die in a pile of ash, where they blend into the asphalt.
Ryan Bauer Fri 26th Jan, 2007 Since a phoenix always causes its own destruction(and others') over and over, I see a phoenix as something that cannot learn from the mistakes it makes in life. Anyway most people see it as inspirational... different subject here though.
Christina S. Sun 7th Jan, 2007 Beautiful use of color! A very strong square C:
Timo Jääskeläinen Sun 7th Jan, 2007 Great one!! Watched the drawing process and at some point it reminded me of a chicken on fire! Suddenly I have realized that I am hungry, so I have to go eat now. You did this to me!
Anders Andersson Wed 3rd Jan, 2007 I am the god of hell fire, and I bring you
Fire, I'll take you to burn
Fire, I'll take you to learn
I'll see you burn
Sean Shingleton Tue 2nd Jan, 2007 Looks good, keep up the great work.
Gareth A Hopkins Fri 29th Dec, 2006 Great use of colour. Everyone's comments so far are valid.
Riekkie R Tue 26th Dec, 2006 It looks lovely Tara, and I really love it, I would never have done it like this but I can say for sure yours is cool, just like Kelley I thought the flames where mesas or a canyon with lava covering the sides and cliffs. Anyway my dogs name is Phoenix and I love him very much, so I love this Phoenix.
John E. Manglona Jr. Tue 26th Dec, 2006 The pheonix announces it's departrue from the nest, leaving the volcano to make roost in other lands!
Kelley Thorne Sat 23rd Dec, 2006 Wow! This is incredible! My first impression when I saw it was that those flames at the bottom were actually mesas, which I rather like. It looks like some god rising up over a desert skyline. Very impressive!
Joe Montgomery Sat 23rd Dec, 2006 PHOENIX IS BEATIFUL
THANKS FOR THE COMMENT
I AGREE IT TAKES A LOT OF CONCENTRATION TO DRAW WITH A MOUSE. IT IS NOT LIKE A BRUSH THATS FOR SURE. I WRITE WITH CAPS BECAUSE I SUCK AT TYPING AND THEN I DONT HAVE TO SWITCH ALL THE TIME. THIS SURE IS A NICE FINGERPRINT
Allison Dollar Thu 21st Dec, 2006 I like it as it is now, but I'm excited to see what you'll do when you finish! *Thinks* the only thing that jumps to mind are some really hot/dark reds and some really bright yellows. Though I think it's great now..
