smiley Love what everyone is doing!
I saw your message this morning Mark so made mine white and went off to work. Came back to find a picture developing already. How exciting.
I hope everyone tags on so we have a near complete picture for Christmas.
There is still one square not taken so that will be a little annoying but I am sure we can work around it.

Hi, I agree the picture is really shaping up and has become a real fun piece. I think I was guilty of starting off with a too small scale for the characters and buildings in my square smiley but the overall picture looks pretty good so far and doesn't matter if it's not perfect. I see that some of the squares have been set to white in anticipation of joining in so it would be good if the squares that are being completed at the moment could have something at the edges for the other people to join on to. I hope everyone enjoys the Christmas Holidays, whether you celebrate or not and has a fantastic New Year smiley

I will hopefully have time to do something on mine next week - I broke up today, am pretty busy over the weekend then things calm down. And I need to do anything to delay holiday work further.

Yes Mark you should be ashamed of the scale lol! Still we do have the Zoom in feature so it is not so bad.smiley
I love how it looks so far and have started the process of chasing up the slackers. smiley Only 4 days left 'til Christmas so would be wonderful if we complete the picture in time. Heres hoping.
What are we doing next? Globe or Atlas? Both are great ideas I think.

Happy New Year everyone!smiley
Picture is looking really good. I like the way so many ideas appear in each collab. This one is so funny, festive and pretty all at the same time.
What are we going to do next then?

I am here, but only sporadically (or at least not as much as before, although that isn't saying much) I am afraid, start of the new term is surprisingly heavy.
Are we going to continue to do short term pictures or are we going to stick with one long term piece? I quite like changing the picture frequently but that means that not every picture ever gets completed as people don't visit frequently enough to pick up on the new theme. Perhaps a long term project which can be adapted throughout the year?

I'm here too. I just started class as well, so I am mostly studying in my spare time. I'm up for anything though, be it long or short term. Might take me a sec. to get to it, but I do pop in to see whats up. smiley

I'm around! Are we ready for the next project? I agree with Sarah; I like the mini projects too, but it's difficult for everyone to keep up with them. We're only missing 5 on this one though, it would be nice to get a screen shot of a completed collab before we move on. Maybe we should do some more prodding!
If everyone's happy with the atlas project I'll get a squared up reference picture up. I've had a quick mess around and it looks like the proportions are perfect for the shape we've got. Even the squares that are mainly sea can be filled with ships, fish, rafts, sea monsters, etc so everyone can make their square as detailed or as simple as they like. Is everyone happy? =)

Atlas sounds wonderful to me Jo. smiley
I have tried PMing the few that have not joined in the Xmas collab pic. but apart from Jethro they have not been here since before Christmas. Shame we didn't get a complete picture but it still looks great. I do have one more person who wants to join us so I have been trying to get an answer from Skaii, Jethro and Shanna to see if they want to continue with the collab but I have heard nothing. If I move this person they will have to be on the outside of our rectangle which is not ideal but still possible. I would prefer to hear from those who have not kept up as to whether they want to stay involved. Shanna has not been on here since November. How long should I wait before I give someone else the spot?

I love the atlas idea, sounds good to me.
If someone hasn't been on since september then I think they can be moved if their spot is needed, but I agree it is hard to know who is just a bit busy but is still involved and who doesn't visit the OMM anymore. It is a shame that it is still happening even after we have already regrouped once.

I think if someone wants to join in now we should give them the spot. I'm sure people will understand that we want to keep it moving and if they come back they can always tag on the end (though I'm not sure what we could add to a world map- some fantasy countries maybe?).
Here's the map anyway =). Everyone feel free to suggest changes and interpret it how you want. Landmarks, flags, people, food, whatever you can fit in. You've got a belter of a square, Aunty M. Can't wait to see what everyone does!

EDIT: Oops- that turned out enormous! I don't want to lose too much detail by shrinking it so I'll post a link instead of the full image. Let me know if you have any problems viewing it.

*GULP* I get....everything! Anyone want to swap? I would be happy with a piece of sea if someone thinks theirs is too boring.
I have now moved Angela to Shannas square. If Shanna wants back in at a later stage I will have to bring her back this way.
Maybe eveyone could go and say hello to Angela...UP vote her image or leave a comment perhaps. smiley

I don't mind where I am, but I am quite bust so won't be able to do anything amazing with an important square

Oh dear, Shanna! We just swapped you with Angela yesterday. Terrible timing but I hope you don't take it personally! Glad to have you back though, hopefully Aunty M can get you swapped back, maybe with Skaii or Jeran? It seems harsh to shift people around, but it's so hard to know who's still around and who isn't.

I don't know when the launch date is. We haven't been updated about it in a long time! I think the atlas is a nice image to finish on, but it would be nice to carry on collabbing. If people can spare the space in their gallery it would be good to keep this one to one side when it's finished so we can work on more, then bring it back at the end. Or is that too ambitious? =)

Shanna...sorry. smiley
Nice to know you are still around. Would you like my spot? Rather more in it than I want to attempt. I could then move myself to one of the other inactive squares so that if they come back I can move myself on rather than someone else.
I wouldn't feel so guilty then.

Hi, just noticed the atlas has started, I've got Brazil which is good. I probably will not be able to start on my square until next week as I will be away from my own PC until next week. I will make a start asap next week. Looking good so far though.
